At first I tried to name it ‘Cybography’. But I changed my mind and made a compound word ‘Computography’ for the public to understand it easily.
So I removed ‘-er’ from the word ‘computer’, added ‘-o-‘, and put ‘-graphy’ into ‘computography’. For 30 years I have been using the word registered as an entry in the page 174 of my Encyclopedia of Prints to keep on using it.
The difference between computography and digital print is that computography is finished in the computer from the beginning to the end making all images of objects by using computer.
But digital print is what all artists make special effects in non-digitalized images by using software and print out
That is the difference between them.
Paul Gauguin lived as a stock broker up to 40 years old.
Suddenly his elan vital drove him to be an artist.
Holding down a job, he went to school at night to learn the fine arts.
I am exactly an avatar of him.
But I made strenuous efforts to be second to none to him in arts.
To outdo him I still have been making prints ardently.
